A good app will be under constant development. Make sure you check this out before buying an app. See when the last update was.

Take a moment and see what the developers updated in the app.

It seems like a great feature to auto update your apps but I want you to stop for a moment and read what was updated. It may be minor bug fixes or a complete overhaul. You don’t want the user interface to be completely redesigned and then struggle to use the app especially in front of a client.

Before I update my app I scan through them and read what’s changed. Sometimes I will only update a few apps at a time to try new features out right away.

At the end of my weekly review I open the app store on my iPad/iPhone and review the app that can be updated. Most of the time it’s only a few apps and it’s to review the changes.

This is a quick way to find out what new features there are in the app.
