This is a follow post to “A guide to turning Evernote into an awesome GTD reference system” I wanted to show you how easy it is to move project notes to general reverence filing with my Evernote tag system.

Here are the project notes that I want to move to my general reference files. Note the @ symbol in the tag.

Here are the steps you need to take to move the notes:

Step 1

Right click on the tag to open the menu and click on rename. Remove the @ symbol and save the note.

Step 2

Click on the renamed tag and drag it up to top of the tag tab.

Step 3

Check that your tag s filed in the general reference section.

Easy Right!
